Lately I have been paying exceedingly close attention to what truly makes me feel light and puts a smile on my face. And to no one’s surprise, it is my kids and their world. The small colorful trinkets, the craft ideas, the random little bits, the color, the playfulness, the unseriousness of it all… it’s pure joy.

Have you ever just sat and fully watched a child make art? They’re completely and utterly uninhibited by what they should or shouldn’t do. It’s total freedom. And how they just do exactly what comes to their minds the second it hits their beautiful little brains? It’s the most inspiring thing on this planet. And that’s how their world feels - joyful, carefree, profound, playful, unrestrained.

So in the spirit of this, I thought I would compile a smörgåsbord of all the little kid things and ideas (along with a few things for mom) that are currently scratching a very specific part of my mom brain.

This may contain: an assortment of colored pencils and stationery on a white surface with the words grandparents and grandchild pen pal kit
Grandparent pen pal set
Baby cardigan
