I always chat about how interior design and personal style go hand in hand. These two forms of self expression completely overlap in my opinion. They inform, influence and flow. They’re aligned. They’re a continuation of one another. The overall vibes, the color palettes, the materials, the feelings - they can completely build upon one another. So as a creative exercise, I put together 5 outfits inspired by some of my favorite rooms:

Shades of icy Scandi blues with a touch of ivory and gold. Formal upon first glance but paired back. No frills.

Casual and functional. Buttery yellows paired with powdery blues and a punchy splash of red anchored by the smallest touch of black.

Evocative. A rich camel and cream coupled with a deep terracotta red. Greek motifs take center stage. You know I love a Vitruvian scroll and Greek key!

Function over form. Bold fiery red hues balanced by summery whites. Net produce bags forever!

Luxurious and classic in form - a palette of coastal blues paired with understated creams. Mosaic tiles on the floor reinterpreted in sandals!
If you’re ever in a rut with your personal style, I highly recommend turning towards your favorite interiors, paintings, sculptures, gardens, whatever it may be that you find beauty in and let that be your inspiration.
Have a lovely Sunday!
xx,
Kristin

Need to try this, but fear I'll wind up dressing like a frilly cupcake give my love of all things ruffled/tasseled. Perhaps it will encourage me to exercise restraint in my decor!
I’ve been thinking about this ever since we talked about it on our trip! I love!
