Hi all and happy Thursday! I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how many easy (but effective) ways there are to update your home. You don’t need a big renovation to make a space feel fresh or bring a little joy into your everyday. There are so many small, budget-friendly changes you can make that don’t take much time—some you can even knock out in a weekend. I have put together a list of 15 easy design tips I’ve used in my own home that you can try too!

  1. Add tassels. A few months ago I added tassels to our alabaster pendant in our bedroom and our paper lantern in our family room. Yesterday I popped some tassels onto Astrid’s roman shades and instantly loved the playful look.

  2. Add contrasting trim to your cabinets. I shared in a previous post that to achieve this look in our kitchen, I used 1/4” artist tape!

  3. Add candle sconces wherever you can. These are so lovely to light in the evening and instantly set the mood.
